you can definitely see that Jonny Lee Miller actually botherd to read the books to portray Sherlock as good as possible and not to base it too much on other people's version of him. Lucy Liu is just amazing and they have such a great chemistry. I just love this show a lot and would recommend it to everyone who likes Sherlock Holmes or just crime shows in general. the characters grow on you a lot

I feel in love with the Sherlock from the British TV Series, and then from the movies, but I really didn't expected to fell in love with another one. I'm happy with how wrong I was. The cast is splendid (I admit I was a little disappointed with the Mycrof they choose, but I guess I was used to the other two, who, in a way, were very alike. But whatever, I will accept it, wanting it or not. I have no other choice) and the plot until now is very good. I want to see more, and for me, that's enough

Sherlock Holmes is undoubtedly the most eccentric and genius detectives in the fictional worlds...While the British TV Series 'Sherlock' portrays him as a superhuman, 'Elementary' paints him as human as possible while detailing his extraordinary eye for detail and deductions... An absolute pleasure watching this show...

I'm honestly in love with this show, it's one of the best Sherlock Holmes adaptations I've seen. For once, Sherlock doesn't seem inhuman in his ability to deduce and solve everything, and his drug addiction and myriad problems humanise him all the more. An absolutely spot on Show for any lover of Holmes and Watson, or just if you want a quirky mystery to get your brain attic all cleaned up.

This is an entertaining show, not particularly interesting. I think the British version is much better than this one. The main gripe I have with it is how procedural it is. there is barely any overarching story if any. Good if tired and need a pass out show.
